Winnals House and Gardens

Country Life 1901

We hope one day to be able to see the original pages from these books, but for now, we know that Winnals had Gardens of some repute, so that they are mentioned in what was a leading Society journal.

Gardeners Chronicle 1911

Here we have snippet of information that someone named ???? E. Hill already lived in Winnals in 1911, so it was in the same family until our Estate was built.

Burke’s Peerage 1963

Again just a fascinating glimpse of connection between Winnals Park and a family that resided here - likely well connected county family, but we will not know until this entry will be examined. Do you have Burke’s Peerage on your bookshelf? Or maybe your ancient relative have it? Please do let us know!!
